A full time academic program for grades K-5 with a focus in Quran and Islamic Studies. The program offers strong K-5 academic curriculums (in accordance with the Common Core Curriculum of Baltimore County Public Schools) in the following subject areas; Mathematics, Science, English Language Arts, Social Studies, Health with Recess and Art. Quran, Arabic and Islamic Studies are integrated into the program. Students begin with recognizing and grasping correct pronunciation of the Arabic alphabet, once they complete the Qā’idah, they are able to read Arabic and the Qur’an correctly with fluency and memorize chapters of the Quran according to each level. In Islamic studies, students cover Ḥadīth, Fiqh, Aqīdah, Islamic history, and Islamic etiquette and manners with focus on each child’s Tarbīyah (Islamic nurturing) in mind. Students are taught in person at the AL ILM campus by our team of qualified teachers.
